Memories |
It is a place where you can
Go and see the trees sway to and fro.
When you look at the trees
They will remind you of your
Loved ones that have died with
Love.
It is a place where you can
Go and look a the trees
And see your loved
Ones in a deep sleep.

The Death of my Grandfather |
As I sit on the bench of Peace
The songs of the birds heal my broken soul.
The Alder trees pond calms me,
While the flowers fix my heart.
All Life must end,
So a new one can start. |

Sadness and Sorrow |
All you can see is memories and trees
Memorials for people who have fallen to their knees.
All of a sudden you feel a sorrow
But remember the good times and tomorrow.
Don’t forget the memorials.
Don’t forget the trees
Don’t forget the people who fell to their knees.
You might forget today
You might forget tomorrow
But you will never forget
The sadness and sorrow.

Memories |
As I walk down the path of memories
Looking at the trees in memory of the soldiers.
Thinking to remember how the soldiers used to live
Thoughtfulness about what the poor people went through
Sadness fills me with tears
My sorrowful heart filled with treasured memories. |

The War |
The War, the war;
An Awful time,
This so dull,
The red poppies shine.
Death, death
Everywhere,
Each way you look,
Gives a blinding death stare.
Peace, peace
A time to remember
Special people up there.

Sadness |
Amazing Sadness
Heartbroken families
A place to read and remember
Colourful Writing
Peaceful words
Remember happy times and sad. |

Sadness in my Heart |
Sadness in my heart
Babies’ names and years
Tears in my eyes ,I just want them to be
Happy, Are you Happy? |

We will Remember Them |
When someone you love becomes a memory, becomes a treasure,
And they all fight for their country,
Freedom for all,
Soldiers give the sorrow.

Memories and Flowers |
As the flowers waved wild and free,
I looked at them and I could see
Some smiley faces staring at me,
Such a shame they could not be staring carefully.
As the flowers wave wild and free,
I weave in and out as happy as can be.
As the flowers wave wild and free,
I looked at the ambulance nervously
As I saw the injured soldiers being carried
On hard green stretchers.
As the flowers waved wild and free,
I though about all the sad memories.

The Weaving |
Willow Sticks weaving in and out
Making a fish from wood,
Making mistakes and correcting them again
Wishing to get the job done.

Memories |
Memorial trees, RAF gunners
Shooting at eaze in the beautiful summer breeze,
The sound of the buzzing bees
In the garden of the Alder trees,
At Alrewas Arboretum.
Beautiful benches,
World war 1 trenches,
Burmese track
Fascinating facts
At Alrewas Arboretum |

Remembrance |
As I remember the two minutes of silence
Remembering all of the soldiers
Who put their country before their lives.
The soldiers gave a helping hand to an injured soldier.
The marble stones have the names of the people
Who fought for England.
Poppies make people cry, tears dripping down peoples faces
And the tragic memories still chase your soul.

Brave Marines |
All of the Marines died for us.
In the cold, dark wet night.
Nobody to help or save them.
When they die, their friends walk on for us.
Brave enough to stand anything.

Memories |
Treasured Memories are everywhere,
Everywhere the happiness is laid,
Everywhere the people lie,
Injured and bruised,
But also names are memories
Treasured memories are still there, Just like you and me.

The Memories Poem |
Babies may die but on stones they lie,
People may die but in hearts they lie,
Three different flags in a line,
Different colours in mind,
Different treasures and secrets.
No more people may die,
Or else we will cry.
