Scott Waldron

Gingerly dancing on the cool breeze,
I twirl on the wind and gently float free.
Admire the view and look back on my home,
A weeping stream along a withering tome.

Skyward song in a single breath,
Walls of stone and glorified death.
Fluttering slowly to a walking pace,
freed from water and confined space.

Soar by the bear, dive past the trees,
crashing by the statues, dusting my knees.
Take up wing with a degree of sleaze,
You'd never believe what a ladybug sees.

Let's cast off our feet and take to the skies,
get away from friends and family ties.
Smallest of details, look for my wings.
A melancholy song, the lonely Ant sings.

Burst from my bed in dazzling blue,
I sprint through the air and race to you.
Show off my wings and slow on your eyes,
No tears will be shed when the butterfly dies.

You dislike my habit of hanging around,
making my trademarked buzzing sound.
Ignore my taste and bad tendencies,
there’s' beauty in bluebottles you couldn't believe.

Run from the birds, we fled to the stone.
Preserving the dead, to be never alone.

Emotion

All these things well up inside of me,
Sorrow at the start.
Tears drop on the grass
As shiny as a brand new car.

Next in line is anger
Bottled like fire inside
Hot as marble in the sun
Smouldering in the light.

Last of all is wishing
That I could have helped
Never leaving his side
All I can do is pout.

My hands running along the plaque

Made me stop and think
That my friend is not the only one
Who did exactly what he did!

Fragility

We soldiers fight for unity.
Boom! Boom! Boom! And we all fall to the ground,
Dumbfound
Like a crosshair on our heads,
Take your best shot.
Once the bullet pierces my juvenile heart
The never-ending day has another victim.

A letter opened for an innocent lover.
Fate fell short this time,
But the world moves on and on and on.
The colours lost their place,
Now they’re dripping down and bleeding,
Like a dream turn to madness,
Or a promise with no meaning.
Tears break in her new voice.

Now you’re far away,
Just like yesterday.
Our love is tied,
And this feeling bears no conscience,
Thundering echoes in my heart,
Goodnight, God bless.
Awake from my death.
I’m on the pathway to the sky,
Missing you already,
Separated by fate, death and life.
Wait to see you smile,
And I’ll be gone,
I’ll be gone for a while.

Should this couple have ever been sundered?

We are here today to celebrate
Those lost through love and hate.
Bask in all their glory.
These names are engraved
In the walls of our hearts
So hands to the sky
Go forth my children, fly.

The Stone Heart

The anchored Heart, the anchored strength,
 The anchored life, forever lost.

I lie beneath the chest,
Of once a strong courageous warrior.
The power of which I provided,
Is buried under broken strands of life.

The shadows of darkness linger around,
The walls of the garden of light.
Awaiting the presence of a warming source
Discovering the pathways.

I lie remaining peaceful but alone,
Sadness submerging my empty frame.
Drowning my fears,
Drowning the future hope of life.

No pain can be compared to a life of mine,
Trapped behind barriers to wishes.
Positioned frozen constantly,
No source of life to encounter.

Observation of the same scene, same life,
Same sunset and sunrise.
Drains the sense of feeling,
Pending for pristine.

The anchored Heart, the anchored strength,
 The anchored life, forever lost.
