I still can’t believe that you’re gone.
You fought for our country
Standing here today,
All alone you should be here.
Now thousands surround your name,
You’ll never be forgotten,
You’re not the only one,
Millions are remembered,
Even some that were born sleeping,
As I look around,
People say it’s sad,
But if you hadn’t died,
I wouldn’t be here today.
But think how long it took to make,
I would say its’ perfection.
When I heard you’d died,
It was like been trapped in a fire,
You just can’t stop it,
I wonder how many people feel like me,
Missing a loved one,
A very special person that’s gone.

Getting ready to jump,
rather be on my sofa in a slump,
my gear weighing a tonne,
free falling to earth under the light of the midnight sun.
Set up camp in the middle of a town,
our mission, to serve the queen and crown,
fighting our enemies and breaking up arms deals,
and for supper lovely cooked meals.
