  • Wonderful world

 Carpet of white,

Field of yellow,

A beautiful sight.

Birds singing high and loud

Owls twit-twooing strong and proud,

Mice scatter along the ground

Rocks shaped fat and round.

Trees stand tall

Looking ….over….all

  •  This Is Nature

While the wind rustles the biggest tree,

Clouds gather like cotton wool.

Daisies cover the grass like a huge white blanket.

Squirrels dart from tree to tree,

Flies hover in huge swarms.

Leaves make light on the floor dance.

Trees: a sign of new life.

While the long grass hides a thousand secrets.

  • The Creatures of the Forest…

The leaves rustle as mice scutter across the floor.

Addicted to water, dragonflies hover,

While buzzing bees collect pollen from the flowers around.

The emerald green grasses blow in the breeze,

Buttercups shimmer in the sunlight,

Birds of all colours tweet up in the trees,

Baby blue skies clear as can be…

  • Shadowing Leaves.

It must be shadowing leaves,

Over your head like a gazebo.

Skylight of green trees as soft winds blow,

A dark surface down below on the stone path,

Smooth as running your hand through a warm water bath.

It must be shadowing leaves.

  • What I See In Nature.

Dragonflies flying round in pairs,

Their reflection ripples, the frog stares,

Lillies’ white like a snowy mound,

Lilly pads swarming all around,

Reeds tall, heads above the rest,

As the robin flutters back to its nest.

  • The Ways Of Nature

Oh my gosh! There’s bees and gnats,

Open land but filled with grass.

Life is great but nature’s cool,

Sparkling waters, in a pool.

Open space is great and lasts,

Little flies, they’re called gnats.

Many days in a year,

Spare some time to come and cheer.

  • Bizzy Bees

Bright lights in the sky.

Trees reaching up so high.

Bizzy bees flying around

Buzzing is their only sound.

  • The Birds

The birds whistling,

With the calm wind,

Singing happily to everyone,

It’s a free world.

The birds flying,

Across the light sky,

The birds flying,

Back to their nest,

And everywhere,

Was quiet and gloomy.

  •  Shiver in the River

Ducks in the river

Might startle your liver.

There’s a huge amount of daisies

Can’t think of any phrases.

Upon the daunting river

There is a gleaming shiver.

  • Wasps’ Nest

Wasps’ nest in the tree,

Don’t think they really like me.

Even though they don’t earn money

They’re still protecting all their honey!

  • BUSY BIRDS

BIRDS FLYING IN THE BRIGHT BLUE SKY,

BIRDS FLIYING HIGH,

BIRDS DARTING THOUGH THE AIR,

TWULLING AND SWULLING WITHOUT A CARE.

BABY BIRDS STAYING IN THEIR NEST,

WAITING FOR FOOD WHILE CRYING.

  • Nature *!

The grass is green,

The sun is shiny.

There are people walking round

In the lakes and ponds with fishes.

The beez fly round.

They are yellow and black,

They fly round the flowers

They collect their pollen

To make their honey *!!!

  • The Power Of Nature

Birds tweeting,

In the sapphire sky,

Pollen from flowers,

Flying swiftly by.

Tornado of vines,

Spinning still,

Diving bird,

Going in for the kill.

  • The Face of Nature

In the smooth sea of grass,

Glistening buttercups jut out like stars in the night sky;

Hand-weaved sculptures pierce the clouds,

Next to the trunkless trees that appear twice,

When eyes fall on the lake.

  • The Old Oak Tree

The old oak tree shivers in the wind!!

The old oak tree - the pattern of the bark!!!

The old oak tree the way it leans!!!!

I love that old oak tree…

  • Features of Creatures

As the waters of the lake glisten,

As all nature listens,

Lily pads move in the breeze.

Daisies sway before the trees

And the baby blue skies shine.

Birds sing as they dine *!!!

  • Blackbirds

 Black birds,

Flying in the air,

In a pair,

How wonderful you are,

Ducking down like a car,

I love you black birds.

  • The Flutterway Forest

Floating Lillypads shadow the water.

Slimy frogs hopping on one another.

Fluttering butterflies flapping their wings.

 Pinkie purple foxgloves.

Baby blue speedwell,

Swaying in the windy breeze.

Sticky gluey weeds sticking everywhere.

  •  A Greenish Black

Green trees green fields,

Cars polluting - need a shield.

See the frogs, foxes and birds,

Think of cars, start to observe.

There’s a place rural and green,

But darkness and destruction is all I have seen.

Now I must leave this lovely place,

And look reality in the face.

  • Forest Life

Pretty pink flowers

                  Shimmering in the sun.

                  Bright butterflies fly all around,

            Dragonflies hovering above the ground.

  • Senses of the Forest

All the birds start to tweet

The beautiful sound, very sweet

But next to the bushes, an underground lair

You wouldn’t hear a sound there.

Sniff the air, smell the pollen

Memories on benches, oh so solemn.

Take a look in the sky,

To see the sight of a dragonfly.

Feel the softness of the air

Visit the orchard where colours flare.

  •   NATURE-

The old ice houses down below,

The sound of ice crunching under your feet.

The reflection on the lake

Glistening in the afternoon sun.

The sound of the song birds

Hovering over the lily pads

Singing their joyful songs

To everyone below.
