The River As I swam under the glistening river
I saw a frog the size of a baby’s palm
As I went further up, the sun was gazing on my river
With beautiful shining colours
As I went further up I saw a tadpole
That glided like a dolphin
As I went further up I saw a green plant
It was so green you could not see another colour in it

What am I? Whirlpools spin on my surface
As I journey through the country
I start narrow and finish wide
Fish lie on my bed
I reflect the trees in my mirror
I meander like a snake
I’m as dangerous as a high cliff
And as long as an everlasting snake
What am I?
