In the course of the Words and Willow 2007 project, so much work was done by everybody involved that we thought you might be interested to see some figures:

786 students took part

266 poems were written and are published here (with more to come)

30,000 yes 30,000 willow withies were used in the sculptures

(All of the willow used came from willow farms and is completely sustainable)

1180 student-hours of weaving

Over 1000 hours of on-site poetry plus classroom hours

3670 images were taken

50 artworks created

The Index page alone has had 4000 hits, image page hits total in excess of 75,000!

The web site has seen visits from Illinois, Colorado and Tennessee in the USA as well as Europe.
